Connor and Brianna’s story began in early March 2022 through not one, but two different dating apps. On Brianna’s very first day using the app, she came across Connor. However, they didn’t officially start talking until two weeks later, when they ended up matching on a different site. From the moment the conversation started, it didn’t stop. Over the next week, they talked every day about their lives, hobbies, and dreams, quickly discovering how much they had in common. They bonded quickly over their love of the outdoors, their similar taste in music, their passion for education, and their shared Lutheran roots and faith. Connor and Brianna met in person after only about a week of talking at Anthem Coffee in downtown Puyallup on March 6, 2022, just minutes from what would later become their first apartment together. Sitting outside, they talked about everything under the sun for over three hours. Only four dates later, Connor asked Brianna to be his girlfriend. From there, they spent as much time together as possible and "like" quickly turned into "love." They said “I love you” for the first time after visiting the tulip fields of Skagit Valley on April 24, 2022. Only 6 months later, they moved into their first apartment together. In the years that followed, their love continued to grow. After two more moves, they eventually settled in the beautiful Proctor neighborhood of Tacoma. They love taking walks to visit the friendly neighborhood kitties or along the waterfront, frequenting their favorite local coffee shops and small businesses, and spending time with nearby friends and family. Connor and Brianna picked out a ring together in July 2025 and Connor proposed on August 30, 2025 at a beautiful U-Pick dahlia farm. On July 18, 2026, they will officially tie the knot at yet another flower farm surrounded by their loved ones (are you noticing the flower theme!?). They can’t wait to continue the beautiful life they’ve created together, this time as husband and wife!
