In our opinion, yes. While you may have some luck with Uber/Lyft in the Savannah area, it is not reliable once you get out to Richmond Hill (The Ford Field & River Club). Please see the "Travel" tab for more information on the courtesy shuttle we have scheduled for our guests staying downtown Savannah.
We'd love for you to dress up with us! While the wedding will technically be semi-formal, black tie optional - we want you to be comfortable.
In October, Savannah experiences pleasant weather with lows in the upper 50s°F and an average high temperature of 78°F. To adequately prepare, we recommend packing a light jacket/sweater as it tends to cool off after sundown.
Weather permitting, all of the events for the wedding will be entirely outdoors. That being said, the weather in Savannah in October is very comfortable and you should be just fine with a light jacket or sweater after the sun goes down.
