Lake Forest is 25 miles north of Chicago. If you plan to Uber, we recommend pre-booking in order to ensure a ride. The Metra is a quick and easy train ride between the city and Lake Forest. For our guests traveling from out of state, or those planning to make a "staycation" out of the weekend, the following hotels have allowed us to reserve a small block of rooms at a discounted rate. The discounted rooms are first come first serve and that rate will no longer be available once the block is filled. We encourage you to book asap as these hotels sell out quickly during summer and rates will increase significantly.
