Take a scenic nature walk through Elawa's beautiful trails or visit their Market for fresh local produce and florals
There are tons of great restaurants in the area so if you are looking for a dinner spot on Friday or lunch on Saturday here are our suggestions: Breakfast & Lunch: Hometown Coffee & Juice, Egg Harbor, Once Upon a Bagel Casual: Everett Farms or The Maevery Italian: Del Rio or Francesca's Steak: Sophia Steak (they have a great patio!) French: Miramar Pizza: Slyce, Silo or Half & Half Pizza Company Our favorite is Le Colonial (French-Vietnamese) - we've made our way through nearly the entire menu here and everything is so delicious, you can't go wrong!
Lake Forest and neighboring Lake Bluff are homes to the most beautiful beaches (as can be seen all over this website!) They are breathtaking! Grab a cup of coffee and take a morning stroll along the water or enjoy lunch in the sand. They are private beaches so there is a $25 fee for non-residents - see details at the below websites.
