Nice restaurant and bar at the Surf Hotel, right on the river.

Wesley & Rose Lobby Bar

Trailhead for a lot of great hiking and biking trails. (Make sure to bring sunscreen, hat, water, etc. - there isn't a lot of shade on these trails).

Barbara Whipple Trail

This hike starts almost at the top of Cottonwood pass. It's relatively short and a great option for those wanting to get out and explore, but not take on too long of a hike.

Lost Lake Hike

Looking for a more challenging hike? This is one of our favorites.

Ptarmigan Lake Trailhead

Great new hot springs in Buena Vista. Mt. Princeton is also a great nearby hot spring option - it is much larger and has big pools, water slides, etc. We'd recommend avoiding Cottonwood Hot Springs.
