When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1st. You can RSVP directly on our wedding website. If you'd like to stay at the Glampground, please let us know as soon as possible.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! You can RSVP for them when you RSVP for yourself. Just know that the glampground is rustic and near the river.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes! Email us to let us know (or put it on your RSVP).

What should I bring?

Answer

Prepare for a range of weather from mid-70's and sunny during the day to 40's at night—layers will be your best friend. Also make sure to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Sturdy shoes are a must, a water bottle is always good to have, and bring a swim suit if you want to go to the hot springs, hang in the hot tub, or jump in the river. And if you're staying at the glampground, make sure to bring a headlamp.

What is the "dressy casual" dress code?

Answer

We will be outside at a campground, so we want everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed. For "dressy casual", think attire that is dressier than what you would wear to work in an office, but not as formal as what you would wear to black-tie or formal events. Midi dresses, cocktail dresses, and pantsuits are all good options. As are a dress shirt tucked into dress pants, chinos and a sport coat, or a suit. No need to wear a tie unless you want to, and cowboy boots, hats, and bolo ties are very welcome! When it comes down to it, we just care that you're there, not what you wear.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

Hawking's Haven is less than ten minutes from downtown Buena Vista. There is ample parking there, so feel free to drive on over. If you aren't staying at the glampground, make plans to carpool and/or have a designated driver because there are no reliable Uber/taxi services in the area.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Most of the weekend's events will be outdoors. On Saturday evening, the wedding celebration will be inside a wedding tent so we'll be covered in case of rain or really cold temps. Bring clothes and shoes that you feel comfortable being outside in.

Will you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! It is on our wedding website. That said, your presence in our lives is the greatest gift we could ask for and there is no expectation for you to contribute to the registry.

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

While we love dogs, to help minimize chaos, our dog Lajla will be the only pet allowed at the glampground.
