Joshua Tree National Park
Stunning national park with hiking trails, rock formations, and acres and acres of Joshua Trees. We fell in love with this incredible place and shot our engagement photos here. We can't recommend enough to spend a day out here.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Soar more than 8,000 feet above Palm Springs with breathtaking views of the Coachella Valley and beyond, along with easy nature hikes through Mt. San Jacinto State Park. Strongly recommend buying tickets in advance.
Salton Sea State Recreation Area
This man-made lake is one of the lowest points in the United States, but don't plan on taking a dip. Enjoy the still waters and surreal views.
Bombay Beach
Drive a little further down the east side of the Salton Sea to visit this quirky artist community on the water. Don't forget to check out the unique sculptures and art along the beach.
Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey
The only place we'd go for sushi in the desert, and a killer whiskey list to boot.

An old school steakhouse with exceptional food and a terrific wine list. Not to be missed!
