From birth, siblings are inseparable with the older taking care of the younger. As Aaron's older sister, Paula would do just that, even calling Aaron "her baby." Fast forward to adult life, Paula made a name for herself in PR in New York, and ended up finding even more success in her new home in Dallas. Aaron felt having his sister standing up at the altar with him was the best thing to truly honor their father's memory and she will be serving as his best woman.
McKenna Kovary

Savannah and McKenna met on the first day of school in Mrs. Siegel's 1st Grade class and have been inseparable ever since. From family vacations, to working retail at Vineyard Vines through high school/college, to picking out engagement rings, they've been through it all together. When she's not teaching America's youth, McKenna can be found enjoying pizza (hold the cheese) with a Diet Coke, watching classic cartoons, or dominating Mutt's trivia night. She lives in Orange County, CA.
Tanner Mettner

One of Aaron's first friends at Iowa State, Tanner was his neighbor during their freshman year and roommate up to graduation. Tanner and Aaron were practically inseparable from the jump. Their friendship began with hanging out in each other's dorms, playing split screen on Tanner's Xbox. Then they became roommates in campus housing and hosted all the parties! From their first days in the Maple dorms to seeing each other graduate college, these best friends couldn't be happier to reunite in this celebration of the bride and groom. Tanner lives in Ames, IA.
Camille Baron

Camille is Savannah's younger sister. Together, they share a passion for hobbies like reading and waterskiing, a love of the ocean, and traumatic memories from many a father-daughter fishing trip. Camille always has her finger on the pulse of the hottest trends and has a talent for catching your best angles in a photoshoot. She lives in Baltimore, MD.
Cameron Geehr

Cameron is a Mario Kart aficionado. From speed trials to beerio kart tournaments, he dominates the virtual track. Cameron was Aaron's first roommate in California, sharing an apartment off of Broadway in Costa Mesa. They bonded over their love of Bilmuri, DGD, and "I Think You Should Leave." Cameron and Aaron also find the worst times to go to concerts; somehow Aaron has spent two anniversaries with Cameron instead of Savannah (Sorry Sav!). Cameron lives in Orange County, CA.

Savannah met Renee at Ole Miss orientation and solidified BFF status when they both ran to the Kappa Alpha Theta house on Bid Day in 2013. Their college days were filled with SEC sorority girl stereotypes like gameday dresses, Bachelor Monday wine nights, and parties with themes like "Rugged Loggers and Sexy Joggers." Renee is now living out her dreams as the Lebanese version of Elle Woods, practicing law in Dallas, TX.
Nate Bloodsaw

Nate is one of Aaron's best friends who grew up only 10 miles away from him in the Chicago suburbs, but they didn't meet until college! Nate attended University of Dubuque (with fellow groomsman, Jaydon). Aaron and Nate bonded instantly with their love of Chicago, Portillo's, and playing each other in FIFA (jury's still out who is better on the virtual pitch). Post graduation, Nate is a pilot for United and a homeowner in Chicago, IL.
Bayley Davidson

Bayley is one of Savannah's oldest friends, with their relationship dating back to Girl Scout Daisies in 2000. They were both brought up boating out of Balboa Yacht Club, hostessing regattas and taking weekend trips to Catalina Island. Bayley's proudest accomplishment is going an entire year without injury; her neverending sense of adventure has lead to more than a few broken bones and concussions over the years. She currently resides in Denver, CO.
Jaydon Shatek

Aaron met Jaydon while attending Iowa State University. Jaydon is one of Aaron's midwest friends who didn't go to the same school. He went to the University of Dubuque, and also is one of Tanner's closest childhood friends. Jaydon also introduced Aaron to barefoot waterskiing while on the Skunk River. Jaydon now lives in Denver, CO with his girlfriend, who is also named Savannah!

Gabby and Savannah became friends in the awkward years of middle school. Gabby has an incredible creative talent (keep an eye out for her designs on all things for our wedding!), an admirable loyalty to family and friends, and an impeccable taste for food and cocktails. You can always count on her to recommend a new recipe or restaurant (and tell you which to stay away from). Gabby lives in Orange County, CA.
Jacob Osborne

Jake is another one of Aaron's closest friends from college. A little known fact: Jake and Aaron originally met on their first day at Iowa State, but it wasn't until later in college that they met again and became great friends, sharing interests in golf, music, and D&D. Most importantly, since they were both from Illinois, it was always easy to carpool home for the holidays. After spending most of his life in the Midwest, Jake moved to upstate New York and now lives in Salt Lake City, UT.
Kailen Locke

Savannah and Kailen's history far proceeds their official introduction. Their grandmothers were friends, their moms were in the same Indian Maidens tribe, they attended high school together, and they even babysat for the same family. Yet, they didn't meet until Kailen came to Ole Miss in 2014! Kailen was one of Savannah's "little sisters" in Theta, which instantly bonded them as lifelong friends. Her dream plus-one for the wedding is John Mayer, and she will instantly leave the dance floor if a Pitbull song comes on. She is the number one hype man for each and every one of her friends. With her passion for travel, each of her instagram posts will have you wondering "where in the world is Kailen?!" but she currently calls New York City home.
Max Kovary

Max and Aaron have a lot of similarities. Both have great hair, are NY Giants fans, play golf, and are marrying two best friends. They were both born on the east coast (Aaron in Rhode Island, Max in New Jersey), but found their way to the west coast! The two were first introduced in 2019 when Max started dating McKenna, Savannah's best friend and Matron of Honor. While he's one of the newest friends in the group, he and Aaron instantly clicked. Aaron is even officiating Max & McKenna's wedding in November 2023! Max lives in Orange County, CA.
Katie Kaye

Katie was also Savannah's sorority "little sister" at Ole Miss, and is also an Orange County native! Who would have thought three girls living within a 20-minute radius in Southern California wouldn't become friends until moving to Mississippi? Savannah and Katie spent their college years bonding over PureRyde spin classes, living in the Theta House, a shared mouthful of a major (Marketing & Corporate Relations represent!), and a mutual aspiration for careers in real estate. These days, you can find Katie frequenting the coolest spots in Los Angeles, CA (where she now lives) or coming home to Orange County to visit her golden retriever nephew, Beau Jackson.

Answering the age-old question of "Who officiates a wedding between a Catholic and a Jew?" - our dear friend, Max. Along with a few others on this page, Max was present the night we met. Our budding romance was rivaled only by Max and Aaron's budding BROmance. Max and Savannah have known each other since middle school, and he instantly became the biggest cheerleader of our relationship. We can't imagine our wedding being officiated by anyone else!
