FAQs

The Wedding Website of Savannah Baron and Aaron Goldenberg
Question

When Do I Need To RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs are due by August 23rd. If we do not receive a response by that date, we will assume you are unable to join us. If you are unsure whether you have responded or have any concerns about meeting the deadline, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to ensure a smooth timeline. Please remember to account for Southern California traffic!

Question

How do I get to the venue? Where do I park?

Answer

Transportation will NOT be provided from any of our recommended hotels (see travel page). Ride share services like Uber and Lyft are very popular in the area. Most hotels will also offer to coordinate cabs/drivers as needed. We highly recommend ride share and kindly ask that our guests who plan to drink do not drive themselves to our wedding. If you choose to drive yourself, valet will be available for all wedding guests. Simply pull into the circular driveway and they’ll take it from there. **PLEASE NOTE: When navigating to the venue, we strongly advise you to input the venue ADDRESS (1801 Bayside Drive, Corona del Mar) rather than the venue name (Balboa Yacht Club). There are a variety of clubs with similar names in the area and we don’t want our guests to show up to the wrong venue :)

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We request that our guests adhere to a semi-formal dress code. Appropriate semi-formal attire includes gowns, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, pantsuits, sport coats, blazers, dress pants, and suits. Bowties and neckties are acceptable, but not required. We encourage our guests to “dress to impress” when it comes to attire! Bright colors, bold prints, and unexpected materials/silhouettes add to the fun of the day. While our venue is a more relaxed setting, it’s still a yacht club, so please err on the more formal side and avoid overly revealing clothing. Jeans, hats, shorts, and nightclub-style dresses are not appropriate for this event. Southern California weather is usually still very warm this time of year, but since we’ll be on the water, it may get a bit chilly when the sun goes down. Feel free to bring an extra layer.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we ask that you respect our wishes to keep this an adults-only affair. If you’ll be traveling with children, we’d be happy to provide babysitter recommendations!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Do I Need to Bring Cash?

Answer

Our wedding will have a full open bar. You may bring cash if you choose to tip the bar/valet, but you will not need to pay for drinks or parking.
