and so, the adventure begins!

Although they met at Founders brewpub, Phuong and Brandon really connected over a shared love of spontaneous adventure and activity (and quite a bit of food!). Brandon had just moved to Michigan, and Phuong showed him the ropes around Grand Rapids, while he showed her his love of the outdoors. Soon they were exploring lakes, woods, rivers and brewpubs, and sleeping in national forests and campgrounds in a tent (and sometimes in a van). Before long they were exploring all over the country, and in sync with their adventurous spirits, in 2018 were engaged in Washington state’s Cascade mountains traveling on a ski lift surrounded by heavy spring clouds. “While we’ll have cloudy days and sun, and plenty of ups and downs, I can’t imagine anyone I’d rather spend the rest of my life of adventures with than you.”
