Best Woman
Sara is my youngest sibling, and ever since she entered our family she's been a lot to handle. I'm inspired by her drive and her belief in what is right and what should be. She's about to graduate law school at the University of Houston, so keep an eye out for how she'll change the world. I'm honored to have her serving as my best woman at our wedding.
Maid of Honor
Annie is my baby sister and even though we're five years apart, we've always been the best of friends. She's the calm and collected glue to my family. She's hardworking, thoughtful, and the ultimate peacekeeper. Growing up, she was the angel of our family and has now become an amazing woman who I'm so proud to call my sister and best friend.
Best Man
Ben is my little brother and the middle child of our family. He has always had to put up with Sara and me, and has built quite a life for himself. He is always looking for ways to care for others and make them feel appreciated and seen. His partner Meredith will be accompanying him to the wedding as well, and is a cherished member of the Baldazo family in her own right.
Maid of Honor
Kelsey has been my best friend since she took me to see Rodrigo y Gabriela for my 17th birthday. We've been long distance besties since we graduated high school but have still managed to support each other through all of life's changes. Not only this, but her whole family has accepted me into their clan as one of their own. She's the most just and kindest person and when it comes to planning a wedding, it doesn't hurt that she has a ton of event planning experience ;) . I'm so grateful she's agreed to stand by me!
Groomswoman
Hannah is one of my closest friends. We met in medical school at Dell Medical School at UT Austin, and were roommates for 3 of the 4 years of medical school. We have shared in many adventures, and I appreciate all the times she's stood with me and supported me. She is one of the smartest and most driven people I know, and I couldn't ask for a better friend.
Bridesmaid
Jaxon and I spent most of our free time together while in college and right after when we were roommates. He frequently pulled me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to try new things. He is one of the most fun yet thoughtful people I know and I especially appreciate that he always made me feel important and loved through a formative time. He moved back from Japan just to be a part of this special day (just kidding, he was already coming back, but it’s pretty good timing)!
Groomsman
Josh is one of my close friends from medical school, he ended up doing internal medicine/pediatrics at the University of Kentucky. He shares my loves of Pokemon and Star Wars, and has always been one of the best people to talk to about life's challenges. Even though we live far apart now, we've found good ways to keep in touch.
Bridesmaid
Morgan is one of my best friends from medical school, now a badass surgeon. She's fierce and loyal and is one of the main reasons I survived med school in a pandemic. She's one of the wisest people I know and has a heart of gold and an awesome sense of humor. I can't wait to have her help walk me down the aisle.
Groomsman
Dylan is my friend from work at the hospital. An avid LSU fan, he’s been a great support through the challenges of residency. I’m lucky to have gotten to go through the last couple of years with him as my friend, and am excited to have him around for our big day.
Bridesmaid
Julia quickly became one of my closest friends during medical school and we remain super close during residency. No one has understood my experience in the medical world better and helped me get through the toughest parts more. She’s hilarious and dependable and challenges me more often than most, which I’m so grateful for. I can’t wait for her to be a part of this special day!
Groomsman
Dan is a friend from residency at UVA. I was so thankful to find another ND fan at work, but more importantly he's been a reliable source of support and friendship in residency. I’m excited to have him standing with me and being a part of this journey.
Officiant
Will is our friend from medical school and Sam's former roommate. He's a close friend who has a lot in common with Sam, including their love of board games, sports, and arguing. He's a loyal friend and we are so excited to let him flex his English degree from a school in New Jersey as he officiates our wedding.
