Richmond International Airport (RIC)

Richmond airport is about an hour and half from the venue, but is bigger and can be a little easier to book. We would recommend renting a car from there, the drive is beautiful but a little long for a cab or ride share.

Hotel

Holiday Inn Express & Suites- Ruckersville

This hotel block is now full, we tried to get more rooms and they said there are none. Would recommend looking for other hotels or Airbnbs in the area. We reserved a room block with this hotel. You should call the hotel directly at 434-985-1855 and ask to book within the Baldazo Bodenschatz Wedding. We are unfortunately not able to provide transportation to and from the wedding events.

Rental Car

Rental Car vs. Ride Share

We've been checking and ride share costs from the venue to the hotel are about $15. However, ride shares can be limited in Charlottesville, so there may be a wait to get one. It's up to you and your family whether you'd like to use those or rent a car at the airport.
