Where should I stay?

Answer

Take a look at the “Travel” section. We have room blocks in two hotels in Southbury: Heritage and Wyndham. We will have school buses for transportation that will go between the venue and both hotels. You are free to stay anywhere else, just know that you will not be able to apprise yourself of the buses.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Hartford AKA Bradley (BDL). While you may find better deals flying into NY or Boston, you will also have considerably more traffic to deal with and there are tolls. Boston is a better option than NY if necessary. The Providence airport is the best alternate if you can find a flight. There are no tolls and there is very little traffic.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

That is up to you. If you are coordinating with other guests and want to share a car, that is fine. The hotels are about an hour from the airport so an Uber/Lyft will be costly. We will have transportation available to and from the wedding if you stay at one of the hotels with room blocks.

Where should I park for the wedding?

Answer

We will have buses going between the venue and the two hotels with blocks. Even if you don’t stay at one of the hotels, you’re welcome to meet the buses there for transport. There is parking down the street from the venue. It is at a train station located at 11 Railroad Street, New Milford, CT. There is also limited street parking. The train station is just down the road but it is an uphill walk that would not be fun in heels so be warned.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal. Don’t know what formal means? Neither do we. Just make sure you look presentable in all the photographs that our awesome photographer will capture.
