Eric and Kaitlin met on Hinge had their first date on November 23rd 2019 where they saw A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a film Eric only realized starred Tom Hanks while he was watching it. Kait chose to ignore this blatant red flag and started using her unique superpower of knowing who everyone in a movie is to educate Eric and attempt to cure him of his overpowering actor face blindness.

When the pandemic hit, Kait and Eric's relationship only grew. Without many other options they started to spend more time together. Then, on September 15, 2020, they decided to embark (see what we did there) on the most exciting journey of all and expand their family when they adopted their dog McFly. Not long after, they moved in together in January of 2021.

Not long after moving into their first apartment Eric and Kait decided to start shopping around for a house. They found one they kind of liked and decided that, since the market was competitive, they should put an offer in. Not even a week later they went to an open house on a whim and realized that they found their home. They rescinded the other offer and put one in on this new house, which was accepted that day. On June 24th 2021 Eric and Kaitlin closed on their first home. The next day Eric brought Kait back to the house to "look at paint options" and proposed. Since then they have welcomed two new cats to the family, Ambrose and Diego Luna.
