Marcelo, Esteban’s older brother by a year and five months, grew up tight-knit with Esteban, spending countless hours on the tennis court and building a massive friend group that still keeps them out on the town together. Marcelo and Bailey have also become fast friends in their own unique way—their love language is witty quips at each other’s expense, middle fingers from across the room, and plenty of booming laughter. Bailey’s birthday is on April 7th, and Marcelo’s follows the very next day. Since Marcelo turns 40 just four days after the wedding, this celebration is basically a combined wedding-and-birthday blowout for the ages!
Jade Dalton
Maid of Honor
Jade and Bailey first met as girls at the race track, racing junior dragsters, and somehow managed to keep their friendship going strong despite living in different states. From high school graduations to Georgia Tech and Auburn, and now Miami and St. Thomas, they’ve truly gone the distance. Jade is one of the four pillars of the “Fab 4” (Bailey, Jade, Valerie, and Dani), the legendary friend crew born at the race track. In July 2022, Jade met a handsome boat captain, and by 2023, she had moved to St. Thomas to start their life together. Jade and Kennon got engaged in June 2025 and are set to tie the knot in St. Thomas in June 2026.
Ed Abante
Officiant
Ed was Esteban and Bailey’s boss at Frida, and now he’s trading performance reviews for wedding vows. He’s shared plenty of adventures with them—Bailey and Ed enjoyed a work trip to Mexico City full of laughs and karaoke, while Esteban and Ed kept their weekly 1:1s alive with walks around Wynwood, discussing everything under the sun. All three have had their fair share of nights out on the town, so when it came time to pick someone to officiate the wedding, Ed was the obvious choice. He’s the rare person who feels just as much a part of both of our lives, equally Bailey’s and Esteban’s. Ed recently moved back to Chicago with his wife Meredith and daughter Edie, where they’re building a life full of family adventures.
