One of Atlanta’s favorite spots to walk, bike, or just hang out! The BeltLine is a lively trail that connects neighborhoods around the city. Along the way you’ll find breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, art installations, and plenty of people-watching. It’s the perfect place to stretch your legs, grab a drink, or explore the city at your own pace. On our most recent trip to Atlanta, we got our steps in with a fun 2-person bar crawl consisting of the following stops: Clermont Rooftop, Ponce City Market, New Realm Brewing, Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, Painted Park, Krog Street Market, Florida Man, Muchacho, Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium, and Three Taverns Imaginarium.
Esteban loves it! You'll get to try Cokes from all around the world and it gives you an insight into the history of the most famous brand in the world. We are lucky for it to call Atlanta its birthplace and home!
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is pure magic — lush gardens, towering tropical houses, winding paths, and serene ponds — right in the heart of the city. Plus, each spring they host a super fun Easter egg hunt that’s perfect if you’re visiting and craving something festive and whimsical.
Take a stroll through Georgia Tech’s campus, just minutes from the hotel and our wedding festivities. Bailey spent her college years here, so it’s near and dear to her heart (and she promises the campus is worth a walk, even if you’re not a Yellow Jacket). From classic brick buildings to the iconic Tech Tower, it’s the perfect spot to stretch your legs, snap a photo, and soak in a little Atlanta charm.
A true Atlanta icon, the Fox Theatre is worth a visit whether you’re catching a live show or exploring its stunning architecture on a daytime backstage tour. From the starry ceiling in the auditorium to the opulent Moorish design details, it’s as much an experience as it is a venue. Check their calendar for concerts, Broadway shows, and comedy acts—or opt for a guided tour to soak in the history and peek behind the curtain. Fun fact: both Bailey's parents and her brother had their high school prom here.
The Atlanta Braves are 'America's Team'. In the 1980s, when Turner Broadcasting (based in Atlanta) ruled prime time, the Braves were broadcast nationwide, earning their nickname. The Braves new stadium, located 15 minutes Northwest of town, has bars, restaurants, and many of Atlanta's iconic spots all packed into one place. Esteban was really impressed with the options and atmosphere of the venue and crowd on a recent trip to Atlanta.
If you are a football (not futbol) fan, this is a must. It is entertaining and interactive for all ages and can make a football fan out of anyone. Bailey went with her dad in college and it has only gotten better since then!
If you’re craving something offbeat and totally Atlanta, Little Five Points is your go-to — think vintage shops, tattoo parlors, indie record stores, street art everywhere, and funky cafes side by side with laid-back bars. Wander the murals, dig through eclectic boutiques like Junkman's Daughter, grab a legendary burger at The Vortex, and soak in that Bohemian vibe that makes L5P unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a fun Atlanta must-do while you’re here, the Georgia Aquarium is one of the best in the world! Walk through an underwater tunnel with whale sharks and manta rays, watch playful dolphins and sea lions, and explore everything from penguins to glowing jellyfish. Plan on a few hours, check the daily show schedule, and enjoy one of Atlanta’s most unforgettable attractions.
Piedmont Park is Atlanta’s version of Central Park — a big, beautiful green space in the middle of the city with skyline views, walking trails, and plenty of room to picnic or people-watch. Whether you want to stroll by the lake, hit the farmers market, or just relax on the lawn, it’s the perfect spot to soak up Atlanta vibes. It's also a great place to find the Easter Bunny for their yearly easter egg hunt!
If you’re up for a little adventure, Helen, Georgia makes for a fun day trip about an hour and a half from Atlanta. This Bavarian-style mountain town is full of charm—think cobblestone streets, German eats, riverside views, and plenty of quirky shops. Whether you’re in it for bratwurst and beer or just a change of scenery, it’s a unique spot to wander and makes you feel like you’ve hopped over to Europe for the afternoon.
