We’re proof that taking leaps of faith can pay off — in early 2021, Bailey moved from Atlanta to Miami on a whim after interviewing for Frida, instantly finding her Miami crew and a new home away from home. Later that year, Esteban and Bailey met at Frida, and we hit it off as friends — hanging out at work, going out with Esteban’s friends, and basically becoming inseparable. In spring 2022, Bailey jetted off to Portugal for work, and Esteban was heading to Paris just a week later to work remotely for a month. Naturally, we decided to meet up for a little adventure… and after much debate, the South of France won as the destination. One week of sun, rosé, oysters, and beach clubs later, we finished the week not just friends, but in love. Since Bailey was asked to return to Portugal the following week, she planned to spend some extra time with Esteban before heading back — and because Esteban had arranged a weekend in Madrid with friends, JP and Pablo (who loved hearing his St. Tropez stories), Bailey tagged along for the trip. After Madrid, she stayed on with Esteban in Paris for a week before returning to Portugal, giving us even more time for our love to grow in the City of Love (and even meet up with her college friend Dave while we were there). We kept it our little secret at work for six months, then went public in early 2023 — and since then we’ve traveled the world, moved in together, and obsessed over our 13-year-old Pitbull, Piggy. We can’t wait to keep making memories, exploring the world, and loving every minute of this adventure together.
