We are so excited to celebrate our wedding in beautiful Costa Rica! Our wedding venue is in a small town called Tamarindo, which is on the Pacific Coast in the Guanacaste Province. It is known for its beaches, surfing, and sea turtle nesting sites. We have decided not to do room blocks, but we have listed some excellent hotels in the area! Also, keep in mind there are a lot of really amazing vacation rentals in the area, as well. PSA: The borders to Costa Rica have opened! However, there are some requirements and restrictions in place. We request/suggest that everyone quarantine prior to the wedding to ensure you do not have COVID prior to entering into Costa Rica! You will be required to be tested prior to returning to the States, and if you are positive, you will not be allowed to return to the US until you are COVID-free! Liberia International Airport

This is the closest airport to Tamarindo! It is about a 1.5 hour drive. My wedding planner will be assisting guests in coordinating transportation to and from Tamarindo from Liberia Airport. I will be posting more information on that soon!

Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO)

San Jose is the main airport in Costa Rica, but it is about a 4 hour drive to Tamarindo!

This is our top recommendation. This resort is located right on the beach and only about 1/2 mile to our wedding venue! There are several restaurants and pools in the resort as well as the only casino in Tamarindo! Breakfast is included with your reservation.

The Wyndham Hotel is up on the hill in Tamarindo giving a grand view of the beaches and Pacific Ocean. This hotel is less than a mile from our wedding venue. It has an infinity pool with swim up bar, a restaurant, and a spa. Buffet breakfast is included with your stay.
