Yes! Our wedding is moving forward as planned. Costa Rica has opened its borders to US citizens; however, there are some restrictions/requirements in place. Please visit this site for additional information: https://www.visitcostarica.com/en/costa-rica/planning-your-trip/entry-requirements
1. Costa Rica requires that you complete a "Health Pass" form 48 hours prior to departure. Before boarding, you will be required to show the QR code. It will likely be provided by your airline carrier, but you can also access it here: https://salud.go.cr/ 2. Costa Rica also requires that you carry insurance that specifically covers COVID related illness/quarantine lodging while in Costa Rica. The website below gives two travel insurance options that include the coverage required: https://www.visitcostarica.com/en/costa-rica/planning-your-trip/entry-requirements 3. Negative COVID tests are not required for entry; however, in order to return to the United States, you must provide a negative COVID test 3 days prior to departure. A doctor will be on site to do antigen COVID testing the morning of Friday, April 16th. The test is $85/pp and can be paid via card. Barbara Broutin will be emailing everyone a form that must be filled out to schedule an appointment.
Yes! We will be planning for there to be transportation to and from the ceremony/reception. Please access this website to fill out the form so we know where to pick you up and drop you off! http://www.fournineteenweddings.com/ellen-brandon
We ask that you RSVP no later than March 3, 2021 so that we can get a final headcount for our venue.
You can RSVP on our website by clicking on the RSVP tab and searching for your party's name.
In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests invited on your formal wedding invitation.
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be on the beach, so please be sure to dress light and breezy! However, this is a classy affair, so our dress code is Beach Formal. We've listed some recommendations below: For girls, think nice sundresses or jumpsuits that are light and dressy. For shoes, we recommend nice sandals or wedges. For the guys, we recommend summer suits, linen shirts, khakis, loafers, or boat shoes. We're okay with fitted button-up short-sleeve shirts. (No shorts please!) Ties are not required.
We ask that you leave the littles for the ceremony and reception! While we adore your children, our venue simply does not have the room for all the little ones. Please make it a date night. Of course, the rest of the time is your own so please feel free to bring your children to Costa Rica! If you need help finding childcare for the night of, please contact our wedding planner, Barbara, at barbara@fournineteenweddings.com.
Of course! We want to spend as much time with all our guests as possible. Please see the Schedule page for more information. We may have other small events planned, and we will continue to keep you updated. We look forward to celebrating with everyone!
