Sitting at the back of an Engineering Economics class in 2016, Gabe looked around the room. One particularly cute girl stood out (metaphorically, she was the shortest there). For the rest of the semester, Gabe tried to talk to her any way he could. Without much conversation beyond a "good job presenting," Gabe had to bite the bullet and slide into her Facebook DMs with a lunch invite after the final. 30 seconds later he was shocked with an enthusiastic yes. After a week of Gabe making a fool of himself, the timing wasn't right so they settled as friends, getting closer over the summer and fall. In February 2017, a particularly eventful birthday party for Ayesha broke any boundaries and they started dating soon after. Over the years, Ayesha dropped subtle hints like "When are you going to propose??". Gabe always responded with, "Uhh... eventually!" Eventually came in Hawaii of August 2022 when the rain stopped and Gabe dropped to one knee. -- Our story started over 7 years ago and we're so excited to finally get married with you there with us!
