Make the Most of Your Trip to Italy

We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding in Tuscany, and we hope you’ll turn the trip into a little Italian adventure of your own. Here are some ideas to help you soak up the magic of the region — and beyond!

Travel Note

🌻Explore Tuscany

Florence (Firenze): The birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence is a must. Stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, visit Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia, and soak in the views from Piazzale Michelangelo. Don't miss the Duomo or a glass of Chianti at a rooftop bar. Siena A charming medieval city known for its Gothic architecture and Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio horse race is held. It’s perfect for a slow afternoon of wandering and wine tasting. Chianti Wine Region Between Florence and Siena lies rolling hills covered in vineyards. Book a wine tasting tour, or just hop around some local cantinas. It’s Tuscany at its most romantic. San Gimignano A fairytale hilltop town known for its medieval towers, amazing gelato, and sweeping countryside views. It's small, walkable, and full of charm. Montepulciano & Montalcino Wine lovers, rejoice. These two hill towns are famous for Vino Nobile and Brunello wines. The views, wine cellars, and cobblestone streets are straight out of a dream. Val d’Orcia You’ve probably seen this iconic landscape in photos — cypress trees lining dusty roads, golden hills, and stone farmhouses. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and a photographer’s dream.

🛵 Want to Explore More of Italy?

If you're turning the trip into a longer vacation (highly recommended!), here are a few other amazing destinations within a train ride or quick flight: Rome – The Eternal City. Ancient ruins, the Colosseum, the Vatican, and the best carbonara of your life. Venice – Gondolas, canals, and dreamy sunsets. A romantic stop before or after Tuscany. Amalfi Coast – For breathtaking views, cliffside villages, and some serious coastal glam. (Check out Positano, Ravello, and Capri!) Cinque Terre – Five colorful seaside villages perched on the cliffs of Liguria. Great for hikes, wine, and fresh seafood. Lake Como – Picture-perfect lake surrounded by mountains and villas. Quiet luxury at its finest. Milan – Italy’s fashion capital. Great for shopping, culture, and a quick city break.
