Hotel Information

I’ve included a Marriott and Hilton property in Tyler for those who want to use points, but please keep in mind that Tyler is 30 minutes on a dark, deer-infested, Highway from the venue. They do not have ubers that run through that area. If you plan to drink, please stay at one of the three hotels in Jacksonville. They are all three either new or newly remodeled.

Update: The Holiday Inn is full. You may be able to get a room there from Priceline or Expedia but calling the hotel directly they will be booked.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Jacksonville

Update: there was a fire at this hotel in November. They haven’t contacted me yet to say that they won’t be open in March, but it would be best if you booked at the Holiday Inn first. We have a room block at the La Quinta for $84 per night for a standard room. You will have to call to get the deal and let them know you are with the Walsh/Sloss Wedding. This hotel is across the street from the Holiday Inn Express.

DFW Airport is about 135 miles from Jacksonville, TX and will take about two hours to get there.

Love is about 122 miles or just under two hours over to Jacksonville, TX.

Tyler Regional Airport

There is an airport in Tyler that is serviced mainly by American Airlines. Tyler is about thirty minutes north of Jacksonville.

This hotel is about 20 minutes from the venue but great for group stays. The villas are two and three bedrooms so you can partner up with another couple and split a villa. Keep in mind, however, that there is no Uber out in this area so if you are going to drink please try to stay in Jacksonville.
