A direct link to our ancestral space. She guides this family with love and a firm grip. She is the pillar in which we as a community unit has been built and so it's only fitting that she is the one to help build it more. Mother of the Groom (guess which one)... There is no better choice for the reflection period of the ceremony. She is a great speaker and has lots of practice of projecting her voice as the mother of six kids and an elementary school teacher. Even though there will probably be tears as she tries to speak, it is sure to be a beautiful and challenging witness to marriage and the journey Avery and Lake have ahead of them. An ICON living. Lake's original other half. Destined to be the Matron of Honor in this wedding since 15. Everyone in this wedding is Lake's ride or die, but Emily was truly the first. They have experienced all that life has thrown at them together. From Lake's first mosh pit to crisis calls from a random Caribbean island, she has been through it all with him, and now the first to prepare the aisle on the happiest day of his Life.

The fashion icon and incredible sister to Avery. She is one of the most creative and talented people out there and when it comes to anything clothing, she is the moment. Her talent knows no bounds and you'll likely first notice her extremely loud laugh.... Followed by dancing the full choreography of "Love On Top" by Beyonce, and naturally accompanied by the love of her life...Gin. Even though she is excited to be Avery's Maid of Honor, we know she's even more so for the Gin-forward cocktail menu.

A powerhouse human being. She is a world traveler, fierce environmentalist, incredible friend and an even better sister. She is the epitome of what it means to be a great person. She is incredibly loyal, a guardian of the family (especially of Lake), a great role model, and just a cool ass human. She's prone to getting lost in the woods and random trips to the best surf in the world. She is walking as Lake's Maid of Honor, but the honor is really his.
Gabriel Alexander Lee
Best Man
Avery's First Daughter and Best Man for this wedding. Gabe is an incredible friend, a staunch advocate for others, and has one of the most kind souls. Avery and Gabe met through their Medical Fraternity at OSU and cemented their relationship with long conversations outside on the porch listening to Jhene Aiko's "Sativa" while enjoying herbal remedies that Lake prepared. Gabe is really hoping for some Nicki Minaj to be played at this function, and lets hope the DJ plays some, lord knows we wouldn't hear the end of it if she wasn't part of the wedding at some point.

An onion... so many layers, each one better than the next. There is a lot to love here. The family pitbull, no one messes with anyone he cares about. Beyond his bark he is an all around awesome dude. He is the funniest guy you'd ever come across. The type of guy you'd see at a bar and immediately want to be friends with (as long as you didn't look anywhere near his sisters). An incredible athlete and just a good ass time. He is walking as Lake's Best Man and there is no one better than him to do it. He is most looking foreword to walking down the aisle with Avery's Best Man, Gabe Lee.

The "Southern" kid from midwest Suburbia. Alec is one of the most genuine and truest friends a guy could ever have. He is part of Avery's high school trio of best friends... but honestly have become more like brothers over the years. He swears that he has a southern accent, even though it will mysteriously disappear in between sentences. Alec loves bourbon and will probably be sad that it isn't on the drink menu for the special day. Nonetheless, we are all looking forward to his impeccable sense of humor and talent for tomfoolery.

Meesh, A true Partner in Crime. Meesh and Lake have been through the ringer together. They have been a part of so much it's difficult to begin. Through every phase of college Michelle has been there. From revolutionary meetings in common rooms, to creating three collegiate organizations together there is nothing that they cant do when they are together. The Bonnie to Lake's Clyde (except without the death). One day if Lake is ever a famous and powerful psychologist it will be because Michelle got him there. She is smart as a whip and at the same time the most humble bean you'd ever come to meet. A truly special person and a blessing in Lake's life.

A Miami bro turned Denver Liberal: Mike was one of Avery's first friends when he moved to Aurora in middle school. Another member of the high school "trio", Mike is truly one of the greatest friends a guy could ever have. Avery and Mike were co-captains of the Soccer team once and absolutely loved the ego boost it provided at the time. Mike loves to tell jokes that are horrible to hear but hilarious nonetheless and trust me, you wouldn't believe his Tik-Tok feed. We are all looking forward to Mike's color-commentary throughout the wedding day and partying like the years we were "sneaking" alcohol in Alec's family's basement.

A Beautiful Mess. A stunning individual and metaphysical woman. She is beautiful chaos manifest. Her artwork all over her speaks to her creative and confident presence. Powerful and Strong, together Lake and Sam have gotten into worlds of misadventures. Most too crazy to spell out in this PG rated bio. A forever best friend and confidant, Lake definitely would not be standing in front of an altar getting married without her and her support throughout all of college and beyond.

Podcast King and lover of James Charles. John was Avery's first roommate at OSU and although Avery tried to hide the fact that he was gay (that lasted all of a week), he could not have been a better friend to Avery during that crazy time. There were many hilarious moments throughout the first two years they were roommates but nothing could compare to nights playing "Outlast" or the Gedibles incident of 2020. Avery is so excited to have John by his side on this special day and is most looking forward to him slow-dancing with George.

A Rose by Any Other Name Would Definitely Not Be As Sweet. Known in the family as the glue, she is perfectly set in the middle of the Lamb Siblings. She keeps everyone sane, and with a presence that radiates good vibes, it's impossible to stay mad at her for long. She is always glowing and the goofiest human alive. You will definitely find her in the middle of the dance floor busting down with Faith to spur of the moment professional choreography or harassing the DJ for his job.

The Chubby kid turned Skinny Legend. Avery's first friend at Aurora when Dan thought his height gave him Soccer ability during recess (he was very incorrect). Nonetheless, Avery and Dan loved to bond over roasting each other for how fat they were at the time (the frequent Velveeta Queso Dip didn't help) but all that changed when both of them decided to become skinny. Dan fondly remembers first meeting Lake at a... unique... house party in Columbus and is still slightly traumatized from that first encounter. Avery is so looking forward to Dan's sense of humor, drinking, and dancing ability at this wedding (and the fact that he's gonna look great in the slim fit suit).

A Match Never Made. The only time Lake and Rosemary didn't know each other were the ten days they weren't together on this earth. Born only ten days a part, it was fated from the beginning that Lake and Rosie would one day marry. The Aunties had been planning it from the beginning, but the homosexual powers that be had other plans. Cursed to now be forever the groomsmaid never the bride... however, that doesn't mean she didn't get a life partner out of it and Lake is the better for it. Rosemary is sunshine manifest. The best time and a great friend. If you are worried that we will not have an open bar (don't worry we do), Rosemary's purse is sure to be filled with anything you might ever need ;), ask her to do a shot of fireball with you and you'll see what we mean.

Little Brother to Avery and definitely looks like a Gibson. Avery was absolutely thrilled to be told his next sibling would be a brother purely because it made little Grayson absolutely ball that she would not be getting a little sister... truly a hilarious moment. Nonetheless, it has been such a pleasure watching Griff grow up all these years into a kind, gentle, and hilarious teenager. We're all hoping Griff decides to dance during the wedding because even though he may be reluctant at first, kid has got some moves. He's definitely one of the best little brothers out there and Avery is thrilled to have him by his side in this special ceremony as a groomsmen.

The Best Fisherman. The youngest brother in the six. The man is a blast. I don't know if many of you will see him other than when he is walking down the aisle because the Lake at the venue is fully stocked and allows fishing. If you happen to meander down to the water you will be sure to find him casting a line. He knows everything there is to know about fishing and will gladly spend hours chatting with you. If you are looking for an investment or just for some new lures, Louies Lures are the talk of Huron and Sandusky Ohio. Great Brother and a Great Time, definitely worth a trip to hang out with him by the waters edge.

Bearer of the Rings. Arguably the most important role in the wedding there is no one more responsible and more capable than Ida Mae. As beautiful as her sisters and just as smart, she continues to grow into an incredible human. She can carry a conversation with anyone and she loves to dance. If you happen upon her, it's your lucky day. She has read more books in her 12 years of life than most have in an entire lifetime. She may seem quiet and reserved at first, but she has an adventurers spirit and wait till you see her on the dance floor! She is sure to be the last one out there.

THE Dynamic Duo (normally a trio). A class act. A great time and a riot. These two along with their other counterpart not pictured (Taylor Smith), took Lake under their wing in the beginning of college. Together they absolutely ran the rave scene in Columbus and helped build it to what is now. Nicole and Taylor took Lake to his first music festival, and now no matter where they end up in a 60,000 person crowd they are sure to find each other without a problem. A match made in music heaven. These two are sure to bring a lighthearted atmosphere, a ton of fun, and I hear rumors of a choreographed flower lady entrance! There is none more perfect to set the stage!

Our flamboyant flower boy with an interesting past...you should ask him about it! AJ first reached out to Avery when he first got to OSU and has since become an amazing friend to both Lake and Avery. Some of their first memories together were surviving the horrors of General Chemistry and that naturally progressed to raving together in Columbus' rampant EDM music scene. We're all so excited for him to be our Flower boy because everyone knows his love of flowers and in addition his desire to float as a butterfly does.
