Please try your hardest to not wear jeans (looking at you, Dad...). Business casual (i.e. khakis, sun dresses, button downs, etc.) will suffice.
If you are fully vaccinated, no masks are required inside or outside. If you are not fully vaccinated, please utilize a mask when moving about inside the ceremony and reception space per the Virginia mandates.
This will be a Catholic wedding, sans communion. Expect the ceremony to last an hour.
Yes. Beer and wine will be provided, along with sodas, sweet tea, and mixers. Bring your own alcohol/liquor if you so desire.
The drive from the church to the reception is approximately 27 minutes long. Cell service is spotty, so printing out map directions might be a good idea.
No! All children must be accounted for at all times. If a child would like to go on the dock, a life jacket must be worn in addition to adult supervision. There’s also a small play set on the grounds of the yacht club children are welcome to use.
The parking area is the large green field as you arrive to the yacht club, adjacent to the main clubhouse. There are no designated “spots,” but use common sense to give some space for the next row of vehicles to maneuver. Be sure to NOT park in the roped off area of the field, and to leave the boat ramp free and clear.
