Hotel

Osternacherhof - This is fully booked

28 Osternach, Osternach, Oberösterreich 4974, Austria

This is a great option close to our hometown Ort im Innkreis. The "Osternachhof" is located in the lovley small town of Osternach, right next to a beautiful, little old church. They offer a great breakfast, have a nice dining room and even their own wine! Prices are really fair, the rooms are smaller but very clean and the owners are lovely. Kata even used to work some for them when she was in her teens. Katas parents , Christian and Petra, are regulars there and love their date nights over a good glass of wine at the Osternachhof. We will have a shuttle back to this hotel .

Hotel

Hotel Rimo - This is fully booked

Hotel Rimo is a Really easy hotel in Katas hometown. It includes breakfast and we will have a shuttle that comes back to this hotel as well. Some other hotel recommondations include: www.sachsenbucherhof.com (They apparently also have a transfer) - 4 km from wedding reception www.pension-wenger.at - 5 km from reception www.privatzimmer-geinberg.at - 10 km from reception in the town where the spa is www.derkaiserhof.at - very nice hotel in Ried im Innkreis www.ried.at - Hotel Ried

Hotel

Other hotels , eg. Kaiserhof, Hofwirt, Reichersberg, Bumsn

Most of our hotels have been fully booked. Currently we suggest to book "Der Kaiserhof" in Ried im Innkreis, a very nice hotel approx. 20 minutes from our home town and 15 from the reception. We already have other friends staying there, so it will be a great opportunity to share a taxi or car pool.

Hotel

Loryhof - the after party crew huts!

Our wedding location offers a couple of super basic but fun, little huts. This is perfect for our friends without small kids. Come stay with us at Loryhof and join our after party :) We would love to have breakfast with you in the morning and enjoy our time together. Please, don't book the nicer double rooms as we want to save them for our friends with small children. We hope you join the fun!

Shuttle

Shuttle during the wedding

July 2, 2023 6:00 pm

There will be a shuttle that brings people home running from 9:00 pm - 2:30 am! It will be available at any time, just come find us and we will show you the way :) This is our treat, so that you are able to enjoy the wedding to the fullest! If you need a ride from the church to the reception, please contact us. We have some room and the shuttle can also run 1 or 2 times, but the official driver wont start until 9 pm. We are happy to arrange rides the next day to pick up your car as well!

Hotel

If you travel with kids under the age of 10

As we approach our mid thirties quickly , many of our friends have been blessed with kids. If you travel from overseas or further away with small kids, please reach out to us! We have 6 double rooms at our location that we want to offer to those with very small kids, so you can enjoy our party and have your loved ones near by! If you would like to bring your own babysitter (parents, friends etc.) feel free to talk to us about including them during day activities. As you can imagine we dont have unlimited funds for the wedding, but you are important to us and we would love to celebrate with you. We are sure we can figure something out!

Flight

Airport Munich

To arrive as close to the Wedding venue as possible, you will want to fly in to Munich, Germany which is about a 1.5 hour drive from our hometown in Ort im Innkreis. If you are traveling from Michigan you might catch a direct flight from Detroit, but you may have also a layover in one of the bigger cities in Europe or the US. If you are coming to Austria from one of the southeastern US States, catching a ride or a train to fly out of Washington DC will allow you more access to direct flights with better fares. We also highly recommend utilizing a layover in Europe to check out different countries and cities in Europe on your way to Austria or as part of your flight back home. We have visited Rome, Istanbul and Vienna before while traveling to and from Austria. It usually doesn't cost more, could cost less and its a great experience to have a few days of your very own vacation within a vacation. In general, we use google flights to check flights and set a tracker for the flights we are interested in. Booking flights during the week always seems cheaper than booking on a weekend (not the actual travel day, but when you sit down and book the flight). In our experience United has great flights from IAD in Washington DC, but we have also used Delta. TAP Portugal wasn't bad (but can be a bit confusing for those less well traveled), Turkish Airlines was the best if you want to take a trip to Istanbul. But the options are endless - there is Iceland Air, Air France etc. Make your trip an adventure. Feel free to ask us for advise, but in the end this should also be YOUR trip and everybody is different :)

For all the days along the way
