Informal Welcome Drinks and Dinner for our guest from far away

If you have traditional Austrian Tracht, or traditional cloths from your country - this is your event to shine! Kata and Mike will be dressed in their traditional Austrian cloths.
Many of our guest will come from far away. We want to welcome you to our little town and raise a glass. We are getting together at the Osternacherhof, a place that Katas parents go to on a regular basis known for its traditional food and their own wine. This is an informal event and everybody is welcome to join, just let us know so we can give the restaurant a heads up. They have a simple, traditional Austrian menu and great wine (home made! You have to try their Grüner Ventliner!), and other drinks. During this informal event there might be some Austrian traditions like "Brautliedsingen", a song that usually the brides girlfriends sing to the bride before she goes to sleep.

This is an old Catholic Church, where it might be chilly despite of high summer temperatures. Ladies might want to bring a scarf or a light jacket.
Please arrive around 2:00 pm at Katas House so we can all walk to the church. Music (The town band) will walk with us. The address is Ort 131. There is a huge parking lot next to our house where we will gather. There will be our "Kranzljungfrau Alaina" and her "Kranzeljungfrauführer Jonas" that will hand out little boutonnieres for everybody. Usually you give them some money for it. If you bring your kids, please let us know so they can be part of our huge "wedding flower party". We will have flowers available for ever kid, so they can join the walk from Katas house to the church and spread flowers in front of the bride.

Semi-formal or black tie. Be yourself and dress to impress - but most importantly: Wear shoes that make you want to dance all night!
3:45 pm Drive to the reception - Don't forget to honk on the way! Sometimes there will be kids that throw candy and want money for it - be prepared. (1 -2 Euro is totally enough) 4 pm - 5:30 pm : Hors d'oeuvre / Agape at Loryhof with light snacks, summer drinks and Katas favorite Espresso Martini!!!! 5:30 pm Dinner & Speeches 7:00 pm Cutting the cake 8:15 pm First Dance of the newly weds 8:30 pm Brautstehlen ("stealing the bride"-Tradition) 12:00 am Traditional Austrian Midnight Snack 2 am End of official reception
