January 1st, 2016, He picked me up around 10 a.m. at my moms house and we were going on our first date. We initially planned to just do lunch and a movie. Little did either of us know at the time, but that was just the beginning. We went from lunch to a nature walk, to a sports bar for drinks, to star wars in theater, to another sports bar before ending our night with a walk on the beach until it started to rain. This was the night we both knew this was more than just a normal date. We've been inseparable since that day.

Our Friends Bekah and Kyle Herren invited Austin and I to Disney World for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on December 15, 2017. Bekah and I both LOVE Christmas so you can imagine I was beyond excited to go. There was snow, hot chocolate, cookies and everything Disney Christmas. I was in Christmas Dream land. Towards the middle of the night we made it to the bridge right in front of the princess castle and were awaiting the light show. Bekah told Austin and I she wanted to take our picture in front of the castle before it all started. No sooner did she start snapping photos, Austin got down on one knee and proposed! I was in shock! I had no idea he planned this whole trip to surprise me. Of course I said yes! It was truly the fairy tale proposal that every girl dreams of. All I could think was how much I loved this man and could not wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
