Chalet View Lodge

Chalet View Lodge is a boutique resort located in Portola, CA 51 miles north of Truckee and 54 miles northwest of Reno. The resort offers a welcoming oasis where guests can disconnect and recharge. We selected Chalet View Lodge specifically for its ability to accommodate all of our events and our guests (plus, no curfew!). We’ll have exclusive use of the resort for our wedding and have blocked all of the guest rooms, cabins, villas and suites (Group code: CONN24). To reserve your room, rustic cabin, terrace suite or villa please follow the below instructions: (1) Click https://booking.chaletviewlodge.com/#/booking/step-1?group=CONN24 to visit our custom booking page (2) Select your arrival and departure dates from the calendar (3) Press "Check Availability" (4) Select the room type most suitable for your party, and press "View Rates" (5) Under Available Offers, press "Reserve" (6) Confirm your reservation by filling out the form on the next page Please do not call the hotel to reserve your room(s) for your stay, the Front Desk will be unable to assist you. The front desk does not have access to create, modify, or cancel reservations within group blocks. To switch or modify a room type visit the website, www.chaletviewlodge.com Click on the “check availability” button on the top right, then scroll all the way to the bottom of that page. There, you’ll see a dark gray “Modify or Cancel a Reservation or Itinerary” button. Click, then search for the reservation by confirmation number or by email and password if you created an account. Once logged in, you have full control and can change the reservation date, room type, etc. Upon booking your hotel room, Chalet View Lodge will require a deposit of one night plus taxes and fees. If you are staying for multiple nights, they will charge the balance for the remaining night(s) upon check-out. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, you must do so at least 72 hours before you are scheduled to check-in.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport

We hope that you will consider celebrating the entire weekend with us at Chalet View Lodge. Please note that Portola is relatively remote. Ride sharing apps and other technological amenities will not be available. For our guests flying from out of town, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport will be the easiest and most efficient airport to fly into, with only about a 50 minute drive to Chalet View Lodge from there. We recommend renting a car for the weekend. Ideally, we’d love if groups of guests joined forces in renting transportation together, so talk to friends who are going and try to coordinate if you can! Please visit http://www.renoairport.com/tofrom-airport/rental-cars for rental car information. Another airport option is Sacramento International Airport (2 hour and 40 minute drive). We also encourage our out-of-town guests to make a trip out of it and explore the surrounding areas and all that beautiful Northern California has to offer! Directions from Reno-Tahoe Airport to Chalet View Lodge: From the Airport, head west and take the ramp on the left to I-580 North. Keep right at the fork to merge onto I-580 North. Continue onto US-395 North towards Susanville. Take exit 8 at Hallelujah Junction for CA-70 toward Portola/Quincy after about 25 miles on the US-395 N. Turn left at the stop sign onto CA-70 West and continue on for 27 miles. Chalet View Lodge will be on your left after you pass through the small town of Portola, CA.
