Beautiful beach just a short 10-15 minute walk from Squires Estate. This is where the wedding ceremony will be!
Lighthouse Beach South Eleuthera Bahamas This is quite the trek to the southernmost tip of Eleuthera. It takes an all terrain vehicle like a Jeep to get there due to the rough nature of the roads and trails. We’ve been told it’s the best beach on Eleuthera. If you’re ready for a rough ride, this may be a great activity for you! Trip from Governor’s Harbour 2 hour est.
This natural beauty is located past Gregory Town, right before you get to the Glass Window Bridge. If you are coming from Governor’s Harbour, you will head North on Queen’s Highway. We suggest stopping at the Surf Shack in Gregory town for lunch. Check out their specials or go for the Tequila marinated shrimp roll or Mahi Fingers, you won’t regret it! To view the natural pools at queens bath, you’ll need to walk out on the rock outcrop towards the ocean, then down and to the left to get down to the actual bath. You may be the only people there, so feel free to wander and explore. Be careful of the tiny sea creatures that live inside the pool, they’re very small and could be crushed by your feet. Also, the second pool has visible sea urchins in it, don’t step on them... The beach adjacent to the Queen’s bath site is a great place to sun bathe and cool off. Its located on the Caribbean side so you will need to walk across the street to get to it.
Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve is a beautiful place to walk/hike and learn about local plants; it’s approximately 2 miles away from Squires.
Great place for a nice latte, cup of coffee, and breakfast. Within a 2 min walk of Squires Estate.
It may look like a beach bar, but the food is fantastic and the pina coladas are delicious! They serve until 2pm for lunch and dinner starts at 5:30pm. Reservations are best.
Great place for lunch. The Whole Foods or fresh market of Eleuthera. This is a 3 min walk from Squire Estate. Need a perfect wine to pair with dinner? Grab a bottle here!
