Kyle and Jay met their freshmen year at Tech and are possibly twins separated at birth. Jay and Kyle are both surveyors and also like to annoy anyone they hike with by knowing all the Latin names of Michigan based plants.

The youngest of the Thurston girls, Maya has always tagged along with me and now she'll be tagging along for the big day. She's been training for this day for years, already accustomed to me bossing her around during playtime in typical big sister fashion.

Kyle met Brad (also known as Lil B) at Michigan Tech and roomed with him all the way through their super senior 5th year. We've considered registering for a rice cooker to re-gift to Brad so he doesn't have to make the boil in bag rice anymore.

Kyle met Max at Michigan Tech and roomed with him for 2 years. They've been together for all life's little lessons, like when Max learned how to use a can opener in his 3rd year of college.
