The Wedding Website of Aubri Nelson and Jelani Bailey
As a thank you for traveling all this way to celebrate with us, we will be providing accommodations on site for our guests during the wedding dates May 4-May 6th. All of the wedding events will be taking place at the venue, so it is highly recommended to stay with us on site, but we understand that you may prefer to stay elsewhere.

Flight

Lisbon International Airport

NYC and Boston have plenty of direct flights to Lisbon. However it is very easy and possibly cheaper to fly into a bigger city like London or Barcelona and take a cheap and quick connecting flight to Lisbon. Our venue is about an hour outside of Lisbon. We recommend flying in to Lisbon International Airport (Humberto Delgado Airport) over the weekend to give yourself time for sightseeing and jet lag.

Shuttle

SHUTTLE TO/FROM LISBON AND VENUE

May 4, 2026 1:30 pm

A shuttle will run from the pickup point in Lisbon (Restauradores Square, Lisbon, Portugal) to the venue and vice versa the morning after the wedding departing at 12PM. We will not have a shuttle directly to the airport, so please account for an additional ~30 min Uber to/from the airport.

Hotel

Quinta da Bichinha

Estrada de Vila Chã, Lisboa 2580-413, Portugal

Check In: May 4, 2026 at 4 PM Check Out: May 6, 2026 at 12 PM We have exclusive use of our venue for two nights: Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May, 5th. We are hoping to have everyone stay at the venue for the two nights. For people arriving in Lisbon early (i.e. before May 4), feel free to do your own thing, as we don't have any plans for the group before the wedding. Quinta da Bichinha is in the rural countryside, about 1hr 30 minutes from Lisbon. There are NO walkable amenities (grocery, pharmacy, etc) near the Quinta. Once you're there, you're there, unless you have a car. We will be providing a shuttle from Lisbon to the venue and back. However, if you expect to need to travel elsewhere during the two-day stay, please arrange to get a rental car. There is plenty of parking at the Quinta. You do not need to book a room as we are renting out all of the guest rooms and will coordinate rooms for you. Please note on your RSVP whether you are choosing to stay at the venue.

Where to Stay in Lisbon Before and After the Wedding

If you're joining us for the wedding and it's your first time visiting Lisbon - lucky you! Lisbon is a stunning city full of history, color, and charm, and picking the right neighborhood will make your trip even more magical. Here’s a quick guide to some of the best areas to stay in for first-time visitors: Principe Real Perfect for: Trendy shops, pretty parks, and a local vibe. Principe Real is stylish and relaxed, with beautiful mansions, tree-lined streets, boutiques, and cute cafes. It’s a little less touristy but still super central — a great base if you want to experience Lisbon more like a local while still being close to the main sights. Baixa/Chiado Perfect for: First-timers who want to be in the heart of it all. Baixa and Chiado are the historic downtown neighborhoods. Here you’ll find grand plazas, beautiful tiled buildings, lots of restaurants, shops, and easy access to many of Lisbon’s must-see sights. It’s very walkable, close to public transport, and full of energy — perfect if you want to step right into the action. Alfama Perfect for: A more romantic, old-world feel. Alfama is the oldest district in Lisbon, full of winding alleyways, colorful houses, and breathtaking views. Staying here feels like stepping back in time. It’s a little quieter at night (except during Fado music performances!), and it’s great for slow strolls and cozy cafes. Just be ready for some hills! Bairro Alto Perfect for: Nightlife lovers. If you’re looking to enjoy Lisbon’s famous nightlife, Bairro Alto is the place to be. This area comes alive after dark with buzzing bars and restaurants. Just a note: it can be noisy at night, so if you’re an early sleeper, you might want to stay nearby in Chiado instead.

Travel Note

Ride-Sharing in Lisbon

If you choose to stay on site with us, we will provide a shuttle to and from the venue, so you will not need to worry about renting a car to and from the venue. If you are in Lisbon before or after the wedding, the city has a great Metro system that you can use tap to pay/ apple wallet to enter. We'd also recommend downloading the app Bolt (cheaper and more available than Uber) for quick rides around town or when your legs are tired from the hills. You'll see tuk-tuks around (we've found they are extremely overpriced), but Bolt rides are significantly cheaper.
