What is the suggested attire? 👞 🥿
Answer
We're feeling fairly fancy! We recommend "cocktail" or "semi-formal" attire. Please be aware that the ceremony and cocktail hour is held outdoors on grass. Should I get a hotel? 🏨

We recommend that everyone* get a hotel for Saturday night. * we recommend this for everyone with more than a 30 minute drive home See more information about recommended hotels in the Travel page. For anyone flying in, we recommend a minimum of Friday & Saturday night hotels. Feel free to extend your trip, however! It's beautiful here. ❤️⛰️

Your packing list will depend on your interests, though we recommend the following: For the wedding - everything you want to wear/ have at the wedding! - comfortable shoes for walking on the grass (outdoor ceremony, photos, cocktail hour) and for playing lawn games For Vermont adventuring before/after the wedding: - hat 🤠 & sunglasses 😎 - walking shoes 👟 for wandering around downtown in - shorts 🩳 (it's summer!) - swimming gear 👙 ⛵️ (for kayaking as well as use in a hotel swimming pool/ hot tub) - hiking 🥾 or biking 🚴🏼♀️ shoes & clothes: Vermont is known for its outdoorsiness - binoculars for bird watching 🦉 or night-sky viewing ✨🌠
