I met Aubrey before my memory was formed, so I truly have never known life without her. After over two decades of friendship, she proves time and time again to be the most thoughtful person I have ever met, with endless amounts of love to give. She has always been my biggest fan, and supports me through every phase of life. I knew I wouldn’t be the only person that would have Aubrey as their personal cheerleader forever, so when she first told me about Charlie, I knew she had found her person! Even though that means I now have to share her, I am so excited to reciprocate the support, celebrate their special day, and to see how much they will grow together in the future. Aubrey’s been one of my closest friends since kindergarten - a relationship that grows with every milestone we hit and mile between us. I had the pleasure of being with her every Friday football night in high school, every girls night sushi date, through long distance board games and gossip, from San Marcos, to Abilene, to Tarleton, to Juneau. She’s always there to laugh with me and be the warmest, kindest, sweetest person I know. There’s no one I’d rather hide a body for.

Charlie and I met in the 5th grade in Mrs. Brook’s class at Village Elementary. We been runnin’ together now almost 20 some off years later whether it was launching grapes at each other in my kitchen or runnin’ from dogs. He's my oldest friend and I'm grateful I have him in my life.

Before I got to know Charlie, I knew him cryptically as “The Alaskan” from his roommate at the time. Charlie was quickly characterized by his cool temperament and general levelheadedness throughout our time in undergrad, but that never stopped him from participating in the occasional tomfoolery. It’s been a pleasure being your friend and it’s an honor being one of your groomsman. I’ve always seen how happy Aubrey made you and it makes me so glad to see you two tie the knot.
