Where's the welcome party?

Answer

The Workman's Friend, for a relaxed evening hang from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 23rd, the night before our wedding. No need to RSVP or dress up - this is a very informal, drop-in-style gathering. Come by, say hey, and have a quick drink (or two!) with us as we kick off the wedding weekend. Cash bar / pay-your-own tab. We’d love to see you there if you’re getting into town early!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We recommend arriving at 5:00 pm for pre-ceremony champagne and to ensure you're seated and ready for the ceremony!

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

If your invitation includes a plus one or your kids, they'll be listed on your RSVP.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Modern formal, from A to Z - tie optional. Think elevated and stylish, but not overly traditional. Suits, chic dresses (any length), and formal jumpsuits are all welcome. Ties and bow ties are optional - feel polished, but express your personal Fall Style.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Yes! There is plenty of parking, but if you are drinking, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft.

Where's the after party?

Answer

Crown Station in NoDa, 3629 N Davidson St, Charlotte, NC 28205, from 11:00 pm - 2:00 am. It's a quick drive from The Casey, so we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft. We'll be doing a quick outfit change and meeting everyone there. There will be a cash bar, late-night pizza, and our friend Ian Kingston of Gangstarz Productions there to DJ.

What's the plan for Saturday, the day after?

We’ll be hosting Saturday Sips & Snacks + Shenanigans! We're starting at 2:00 pm at Substrate Beverage (Wine & Vermouth), a relaxed drop-in with charcuterie, wine, and good vibes. Come as you are (comfy clothes totally welcome)! After Substrate, we’ll keep the fun going around Charlotte for anyone who wants to tag along.
