After a quick 5.5 hour flight you'll be landing at Lihue Airport in Kauai, on the southern side of the island. The airport is small and the shuttles to the rental areas are short so it should be no problem. Following your GPS, you should be able to get From Lihue to Princeville on the North side of the island in about 45 minutes with average traffic.
*If you are looking to stock up on supplies there is a Costco 10 minutes away from the airport

There are direct flights from Portland to Kauai but not everyday of the week so plan accordingly, most connections will be through Seattle. We are flying out of PDX on 10/5/2021 at 7:20AM on Alaska Flight 841
