Look to taxi services, Ubers/Lyfts (drivers may be limited) and free shuttles for transportation. Or, enjoy the freedoms that come with renting your own car (this is recommended!!!). In Estes Park, getting around the village and into areas beyond its borders is easy but nothing is more advantageous than having your own vehicle. Free "Town of Estes" shuttles make it convenient to hop on and off near lodging, restaurants, and attractions. Rocky Mountain National Park offers shuttles within the Bear Lake Corridor as well. House Or Rental
There are a variety of other lodging options that include, condos, townhomes, cabins and homes that are available for booking on sites such as AirBnb & VRBO. This option is especially practical if your willing to share with friends/family. *We've found that VRBO offers both more options as well as more affordable rentals.
Hotel
YMCA is a great more affordable option. They offer both rooms and cabins, and is close to a lot of beautiful hiking trails and everything is about a 10 drive. YMCA also has a lot of other fun activities, so if you are making a trip or vacation this would also be a great option. Last but not least it is also dog friendly!
