We're so excited to share some of our favorite things to do in the Estes Park area. Hopefully, we covered most of the major categories but if not please reach out and let us know! ALTITUDE WARNING: Even though many are already aware, we wanted to remind everyone altitude poisoning is a real thing. If you aren't used to the altitude please drink PLENTY of water and keep track of your drinks. 5 IPAs at 7,522' hits a lot different than at sea level.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Hiking, fishing, wild animal watching. This is one of the must visit spots around Estes Park. Take the nice and relaxing hike to Sprague Lake and visit the spot where Mike popped the question! A timed entry reservation may be required. Make sure to check the website before heading there!

Shelves higher than you can reach stuffed with all the best candy's from your childhood.

Breweries/Bars/Distilleries

Rock Cut Brewing Company - Great brews and relaxing atmosphere. There is usually a food truck outside. Avante Garde Brewing Elkins Distillery - Colorado craft whiskey and spiced liqueurs distilled and bottled in Estes Park. Enjoy patio views of Longs Peak while sipping on creative craft cocktails and mocktails. Lonnigan's Pub

Visit one of the most famously haunted places in Colorado. Stephen King and Dumb and Dumber fans alike will love to stop by here for a ghost tour or a glass of nice whiskey in the lounge.

Peak To Peak Scenic Byway

A beautiful scenic mountain drive beginning in Estes Park, passes Lily Mountain and Twin Sisters, then turns south, going through Nederland and then Blackhawk (for those gamblers out there) and lastly through Clear Creek Canyon on it's way down to I-70. from Estes Park to Winter Park. Feeling lucky?... Stop by Blackhawk, CO and visit the historic and popular casino town.

Outdoor Activities

Hiking: - Lily Mountain Trail: A beautiful trail with views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide. 4mi round trip (moderate difficulty) - Gem Lake Trail: Several aspen groves lines this trail making this a perfect fall hike. 3.5mi round trip (moderate difficulty) - Lily Lake - An easier paved loop trail around the Lily Lake that features beautiful wildflowers and views of Longs Peak and Mt Meeker. (easy difficulty) Horseback Riding: - Elkhorn Lodge: Whether you are a beginner more advanced sign up for a horseback ride through the mountains. http://www.horsebackestespark.com/ Golfing: - Estes Park Golf Course - Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Course - Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course Misc: - Estes Valley Dog Park - 3 separate enclosures nestled right across the street from Lake Estes. Perfect space to let your pup loose and give them a chance to run around.
