Mary Kate Heineman

Matron of Honor

I met Ashley while we were both working for PwC. I had moved to Chicago and didn't know very many people. Ashley took me under her wing and we were fast friends. We realized we had a ton in common and we started hanging out together all the time. Our friendship solidified over sushi, wine, Disney, and lot of laughs. We've been there for each other in good times and not so good times and through it all, we have always had the wine flowing and kept each other sane. When Ashley met Tom, it was clear she had found someone special and I am so glad to have gotten to know Tom well too! I have so many inside jokes with both Ashley and Tom that I can't even begin to write them out. They are my best friends. I am so honored to be able to stand with them and support them when they say their vows.

Evan Green

Best Man

Tom and I met in Ms. Olson’s second grade class and the rest is history. After numerous all nighters of NBA2K in Tom’s basement and many trips to Busch Stadium, we eventually landed in the same fraternity at Mizzou. Needless to say, I’ve got plenty of great stories about the groom, just ask

Anna Cardoni

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Brides ( && the Bride's first BFF) Ashley is my cousin and my first best friend. Growing up we would spend the summers together at our lake house swimming, riding bikes, making polly pocket villages and getting into all types of trouble. We formed a strong bond growing up and learning about life together. As we got older we were always able to come back to each other no matter how long it had been and fall into our old ways. We can always make each other laugh and have the best time together. As family and friends Ashley will always be someone so important to me and I can’t wait to stand by her on her wedding day.

Patrick White

Groomsman

Hello from Tom’s groomsman and cousin Patrick White. Tom’s mother is my father’s younger sister of a few years. When thinking back to when I met Tom, I honestly can’t remember the day because I was a small baby-child back then. Being so close in age, we have spent many times together whether on summer vacations, holidays, graduation parties, and many more. Some of my favorite memories were when our parents came up with the ideas of “cousin-trades” where they would send me down to St Louis or Tom up to Chicago for extra long trips to spend time with many laughs a lot of uno, basketball games, and Ken Griffey baseball to name a few. I’ve seen him grow a lot over the years from Tommy to Tom and am very excited to be a part of this next big step in his life!

Danielle Ojuri

Bridesmaid

Ashley and I met when we were in 1st grade. A friendship that was immediate has now turned into a bond that will last a lifetime. I was first drawn to Ashley by the way she lightens a room, with her sparkling presence and her sarcastic humor. In the 15 years since that day we met I have learned that Ashley is much more than that. She is the friend that is always honest and the friend who has more loyalty than I’ve ever known. She knows me better than I know myself. In times of happiness she is always the first to celebrate and in times of distress she is always the first to comfort. We have seen each other through every stage of life. From meeting in 1st grade to our awkward stages in-between and now. I am unbelievably honored to stand by her side as she marries the man of her dreams.

Michael Zimmerman

Groomsman

Tom and I met during our time together at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house. I also had the privilege of rooming with Tom in Lincoln Park after college and we had a hoot. Then came the Three Musketeer situation in Wrigleyville with Mark. We are all essentially comedic geniuses and had some incredible laughs through the years. I can confidently say that if there is a take-or ironic hypothetical scenario that I enjoy, Tom is there to provide me with laughter for weeks. Sometimes months. Fast forward and we were at Pour House one evening during the Wrigley days and we ran into a dashing young lady named Ashley. I sat down at the table with her and some friends and I introduced myself, Tom joined me and met Ashley, and the rest is history. Boom. Pour house. The Windy City. Love was in the air.

Clarissa Baem

Bridesmaid

Where do I begin! From having hair extensions together, being the two girls at Stanford with the most luggage, and being inseparable from the moment we met, I guess it’s safe to say our friendship has always been meant to be <3 Being friends with you has always been so easy, our mutual love of happy potter, obsession with all things disney, same sense of humor - being your friend is so easy because you are a light in my life. I’ll never forget the first time we reunited in Disney after Stanford, hands down one of the best trips of my life. Something special between us I think, is our bond. Compete strangers from opposite sides of the country, no history, just by complete chance and god’s plan for us to be best friends for life.

Maya

Flower Girl

Ashley & Tom's number one fan! Also the goodest girl in the world.

Courtney Engle

Bridesmaid

Ashley and I became friends through mutual suffering as auditors in public accounting, introduced to each other by our other coworker, the Matron of Honor, Mary Kate. I instantly loved Ashley's infectious energy, blunt honesty, and fierce protectiveness (I was younger than them and brand new to Chicago). We became friends instantly and spent a lot of weekends together, ordering way too much takeout to Ashley's apartment and dancing around in her living room while getting ready to go out. I was even lucky enough to bear witness to Ashley and Tom meeting for the very first time on one of these nights. Thankfully neither of us work in public accounting anymore, but our friendship has only gotten stronger. I'm so ecstatic to be standing in their wedding

Mark Flower

Groomsman

Tom and I met while living in the Sigep house at the University of Missouri. We both ended up moving to Chicago after college. By chance, we ended up moving only a block away from each other. Tom, Mike, and I ended up becoming roommates and lived in Wrigleyville where there was never a dull moment. While he and Ashley got an apartment together and I moved to St. Louis we remain great friends to this day
