Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We hope you will enjoy some adult time, relax, and make memories with us.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that tie is cutting off circulation, please be comfortable and leave your shoes under the table and loosen the knot. As a side note there is a lot of dirt and grass on the grounds so please keep that in mind as we don't want anyone to mess up their shoes.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, then no. We are doing our best to work within guidelines and had to make some tough decisions. We hope you will respect our wishes and we look forward to seeing your face on our special day.

Can we take pictures?

Answer

We want beautiful pictures of our ceremony, not shot after shot ruined by Aunt Deb getting in the way with her giant iPad with the camera pointed the wrong way. We hired an amazing team of photographers and videographers to capture the ceremony. Please be present with us during that time but at the reception, we encourage you to go wild!

Will there be dancing?

Answer

The building is old therefore no sudden movements are permitted.

Of course, I am. We want everyone to let loose, dance to their heart's content with no judgment till we get the video back.

Can I smoke?

Answer

The venue requests no smoking on the premises or there will be a fee for us. The venue has gone to great lengths to get the squirrels to stop smoking. Please help us to support the cause.
