What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 4pm. You'll be greeted and seated and we'll start the ceremony shortly thereafter.

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope our wedding is a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire. But comfort is key – wear shoes for grass and outfits with enough room to move (and eat)!

What's the weather like that time of year?

Answer

It's perfect! On average, the days are in the high 70s / low 80s while the nights can dip to the low 60s / high 50s. Bring a sweater or jacket just incase!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Ooh la la! In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Do you know us?!? We love both! The wine will be flowing as we sit down to an amazing 6-course meal. Don't worry – we'll be dancing (or bowling) soon enough!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our dinner will be prepared by the amazing Chef Erik with only local meat and produce. If you have a food restriction, please don't hesitate to let us know on your RSVP form so that he can accommodate accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

We love ALL of your kiddos, however we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand!

Do you have a wedding party?

Answer

It's YOU! This is a rather intimate affair, so we decided to forgo the traditional wedding party. The support from our friends and families means the world to us!

Who is your officiant?

Answer

We couldn't think of a better person to officiate us than our friend, Ben Hagen. (Don't worry, he's ordained by the Universal Life Church so this is totally legit.) Ben has filled so much of our lives with warmth and friendship – and wine. We're so excited to have him make us official.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! Check out the Schedule page. We'd love to see as much of you as possible, but all other events around the ceremony and reception are totally optional.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Oh yeah! Check out the Travel and Accommodations page. We're in a small area of the Catskills, so be sure to make your reservation sooner than later. There are private AirBnBs in the area as well.

How do I get to North Branch / Callicoon?

Answer

Please check out the Travel and Accommodations page. A car is going to be your best bet for getting to and around the area, but there is also a bus that travels from Port Authority to the nearby town of Livingston Manor.

How should I get home after the party?

Answer

We want everyone to party hard and get home safe! We'll have a shuttle running at the end of the night (10pm-2am) from North Branch Inn to 9 River Road and The Western.

Are there cabs or Uber in the area?

Answer

Yes! Uber is new to Sullivan County, so it is not as popular – but it does exist. You may want to schedule ahead of time. There are also local car services as well. North Branch recommends Roscoe Rockland Car Service at (607) 498-4400. Please note that both are not extremely close, and may cost quite a bit more than in the city.
