Travel & Where to Stay
For those coming in from out of town, we recommend staying at an AirBnB or hotel near the Highland Park neighborhood of northeast Los Angeles. HLP is safe, cute, close to the venue, and more walkable than other parts of LA. Other cute, nearby-ish neighborhoods include: Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Atwater Village, Mt. Washington, Pasadena.
You can fly into LAX or BUR (closest to Highland Park/venue, but smaller airport with less options).
Highland Park has ample street parking for rental cars and will be safe overnight.
We love public transit and LA Metro has buses & trains for $1.75/ride.
LA is also a Waymo city and we definitely use! Mary and I have $10 off codes for first-time riders. Let us know if you want one!
