Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are going for somewhere between semi-formal and casual. We are hoping for an outdoor wedding, therefore we DO NOT recommend heels. Flats or sandals are a safer bet. Jeans are okay if dark wash and no holes. Please no tee-shirts. Button downs or polo's would be preferred. Sun-dresses, maxi dresses, etc. all okay. In short, I don't want to see anyone's buttcheeks, whale tales, tah-tahs, etc. If you have to question it, you probably shouldn't wear it.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking will be at Miguel's Climb Shop: 1960 Natural Bridge Rd, Slade, KY 40376 Guests will be shuttled to the venue starting around 1:00pm. The final run will be at 2:45pm. After the ceremony, there will be another run for those unable to stay for the reception to get to their cars. We will do another run, maybe two depending on the needs for guests to get back to their cars. We will have a better idea as the day approaches.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the venue.

Can I bring my kids/ grand-kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Due to venue capacity, we had to cut our guest list. And then cut it again... and once more. We love our cousins and nieces and nephews a lot, but we just couldn't make it happen. (One exception was made for TJ - Ashley's little brother - as direct siblings are a different story.) We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a friend/date?

Answer

If a guest is not shown under your RSVP we have not planned for an additional person. You may request them when you RSVP and the request will be reviewed at the RSVP deadline. If enough guests have RSVP'D no, or enough guests failed to RSVP, your request may be approved. Please remember this event will not have children with the exception of siblings. We would love to have your child celebrating with us, but then we would have 36 other children and would be evicted from our venue due to capacity. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I call or text you when I get there?

Answer

There is no service at the venue. We will not receive calls or texts. Please make sure to review your route before embarking and losing cellular service / GPS signal. The directions are very simple. If you do get lost, the mountain folks are friendly and will know exactly where to send you if you tell them you're looking for Miguel's.
