Kitchen Proper
Kitchen Proper is best described as a “Rustic Urban Eatery.” The focus is on fresh, from scratch, made to order cuisine. The menu changes seasonally with dishes such as pasta, fresh fish, hand-cut steaks, unique salads and rotating entrees. There are nightly chalkboard features that showcase seasonal ingredients and the Chef’s creativity.

A Hidden Gem! The brewmaster originally worked for Chicago's Goose Island. Their selection of craft beers and seltzers are wonderful! The hundreds of hanging mugs belonging to locals proves its a fan favorite spot. You'll know when you see it!

This is a fun coffee shop with small bites and a colorful ambiance right in the downtown area.
New Holland Brewing
Hopefully our Belgian guests are not turned away by the name! ;) This is a great place for a casual meal and beer. There is a new outdoor seating area that is wonderful.

Just a short drive from Battle Creek in Marshall is an amazing Inn that has been in business for over a century. Have a dinner in their Centennial Room or a drink in Winston's Pub.
