Maid of Honor
Having an amazing twin sister is one of the most wonderful gifts I could have ever asked for. I can't imagine my life without her and am so excited to have her as my Maid of Honor. Thankfully she didn't scare Anthony away on our family vacation to Lake Powell and liked him from the start! She is loyal, smart, and honest. Most of the time she is working hard in her school studies to become a medical doctor, but her moments of free time are filled with friends and adventure. I love the time I get to spend with her.
Best Man
We may have almost killed each other once or twice growing up, but I can’t picture this wedding without him standing up there as my best man. Will is one of the most down to earth guys you’ll ever meet and has a passion for traveling and exploring. Some of my favorite moments with Will as we’ve gotten older have been hikes in the mountains, wandering around cities, and relaxing on beautiful lakes. It’s fitting that he will be standing beside me on the day that Ashley and I start a new adventure together!
Bridesmaid
My loving sister in Alpha Phi and sister in Christ. I am so thankful for Erica. She has been a patient, loving, and honest friend. 2020 has been a crazy year for both of us and her faith in the Lord is always an encouragement to me. From our adventures in Thailand to camping in Minnesota, I cannot count the amazing memories we have.
Groomsman
We’ve been close since 7th grade, and were pretty much inseparable through college. We share a love of sports and Jesus, and he’s one of the most loyal friends you could ever have.
Bridesmaid
Kat and I met through Alpha Phi and were immediately connected at the hip. Skiing in the mountains, killing it at the climbing gym, falling off highlines 500+ft in the air, sushi dates, and more… our friendship has been full of joy, thrills, deep conversations, and love.
Groomsman
We started the end of our sophomore year in college as roommates, and graduated together as brothers. One of the most creative and talented men I know, James’ vision for portraying the beauty of God’s creation through Photo/Video is second to none. We grew a lot in our faith together in those college years!
Bridesmaid
Sam is always someone I can count on. She is down to earth, smart, and adventurous. We have had plenty of fun over the years and continue to do so. She also gets credit for taking me to my first Gator’s game. And Tebow was there. And they beat LSU on a pick 6. It was great. We also dominated the Spartan Sprint, Super, and Beast last year. I love that she continues to push me in so many things.
Groomsman
One of my best friends from home, Josh and I spent the majority of our summers during high school at each other’s houses or at the beach. Our friendship has so many layers, from a deep connection on faith and ministry, to the ridiculous shenanigans that inevitably occur when we are together. We’ve been on mission together, taught together, and encouraged each other in so many ways. I’m honored to call him a brother, and can’t wait for him to be there with me on Nov. 7th!
Bridesmaid
Beautiful. Loving. Caring. Mother. Sister. Daughter. So many different words could be used to describe Anthony’s sister Sarah. She has a heart for family and a joy that is contagious! I am so blessed that I get to join into such a great family.
Groomsman
The sneaky deacon (see picture above), Aaron is the friend that is always there with just the right words to say or the perfect thoughtful gift. He leads the community group where Ashley and I met at CBC, and he was instrumental in both of us finding community there. There would be no wedding without him and his ministry to CBC!
Bridesmaid
Warning for the repeat words here, but Anthony said it perfectly… Speaking of there not being a wedding without someone, Abby has been a rock for me. She and her husband Janek came to Savannah at the perfect time, and God used them in our relationship to help guide us towards marriage. Our friendship has grown fast and deep. She is genuine, open, and has been a huge part of our community/family in Savannah.
Groomsman
Speaking of there not being a wedding without someone, I should mention Janek. He and his wife Abby came to Savannah at the perfect time, and God used them in our relationship to help guide us towards marriage. In just a short time, I’ve come to rely on Janek for help leading my community group, deep discussion on life and faith, and a blunt honesty that tells you exactly what you need to hear. Just don’t ask him about how Disney ruined Star Wars...you may get more blunt honesty than you signed up for.
Bridesmaid
Two peas in a pod. We have the same personality and similar tendencies. She will always brighten a room with her smile, and she is one of the strongest women I know who overflows with love for others. Our friendship has grown through women’s bible studies, community group, discipleship, spartan races, books, and food. For the Queendom! (from Spartan Trifecta)
Groomsman
My first roommate in Savannah, Andrew and I grew close super fast! He’s a strong man of faith who is quick to encourage me with scripture and deep discussion, and he also has a passion for serving and reaching the marginalized with the gospel that is infectious.
Bridesmaid
Ashley was one of the first friends I ever had in Savannah. Six years ago, she welcomed me into her life as a local and I found a home away from home and a lifelong friend. She can be brutally honest at times and she knows it. But on top of that, she has a big heart and a beautiful family.
Groomsman
One of my first friends in Savannah, I’m thankful for this brother. We’ve bonded over a desire to grow deeper in the faith and stronger as men of God. He’s a spartan if there ever was one, an adventurer, and his humor (though cringeworthy at times) is good at uplifting you at the perfect time.
