Yes! The venue has instituted a few changes. 1.) There is screening checkpoint at the parking lot for guests to check in on arrival. 2.) At the checkpoint, temperatures will be taken and there will be hand sanitizer for guests. 3.) Staff and vendors will be wearing masks throughout the event. Food/bar staff will also wear gloves. 4.) Food vendors are asked to adhere to ALL state required and suggested methods as if they were in a restaurant (sanitation of equipment, food temps etc.). 5.) SFF requires all food to be plated or passed or chef attended buffet only (no self-serve). 6.) Temperature check for all vendors upon arrival (most are also checking temps prior to leaving their businesses as well).
Venue is currently limited to 50% capacity (100 people) or less. While we are currently limited, we are hoping and praying that we will eventually be able to send formal invitations to all of you, and because we know that it impacts your plans, we wanted to let you know that we will have to approach invitations in a fluid manner. This means that we will begin sending formal invitations to our immediate family and wedding party, and then send more as our allowable guest count increases back towards our original number (200). We are continuing to monitor the situation and have conversations with the venue on headcount, so please know that we will be continually updating you as we get closer to our date. If you do receive an invitation from us, please respond as soon as you can so that we can keep inviting others if spots open up.
Social distancing: 1.) Encouraging seating charts for the outdoor ceremony site (so guests sit in family groups). And they are spacing seats a lot more than normal. 2.) Dismissal from ceremony by row or group to reduce line at bar and encourage social distancing. 3.) Require seating chart for reception and can open the space to become a pavilion 4.) Larger dance space 5.) Larger space between tables (6ft or more) 6.) Encourage social distance – post signs etc.
