RIC is located only 5 minutes from the DoubleTree hotel (with a free shuttle both ways) and 15 minutes from downtown. Rental cars are available at the airport, and Uber and Lyft are always available in the area (recommend checking both apps, as better availability can fluctuate between them depending on time of day).

(5 minutes from venue) Shuttle service will be provided to and from the venue. Click "View" below to book with the room block online via direct link, or call the hotel and mention the Barnes-Potthast Wedding. The group rate will be available for the nights of 9/25 thru 9/27. If you are told the block is full when booking, please let Ashton or Mick know so more rooms can be made available! The cut-off date to book is 9/1/26, after which reservations at the group rate will be determined based on space available.

(15 minutes from venue*) If you'd like to stay downtown, Quirk is the most popular boutique hotel in the city. The art-adorned Lobby Bar is its own (very pink) vibe, and the rooftop offers one of the most panoramic views of the city. *No room block or shuttle service will be provided for this location.
