Registry
Your pleasant company is gift enough! If you are curious about our registry, we decided that for a variety of reasons (sharing a house with roommates and not having a lot of extra room for more stuff being a big one) we have opted to set up a simple cash fund to which people can contribute to our honeymoon travel expenses if they so wish. We are both passionate about traveling and we place a lot of value on the ability to see new places and to create lasting memories thorough shared experiences. Though it may seem like the least personal gift, this cash fund will directly be converted into those immaterial or ephemeral things that mean the most to us- eating a delicious local meal prepared with unfamiliar ingredients, seeing new and beautiful landscapes and plants and animals, getting to know new cultures and ways of life. All this to say, this is what we would prefer over a traditional registry, and we'd greatly appreciate any contributions towards our first trip as newlyweds :)
