🇺🇸 To get from Nuremberg to Burg Abenberg on Friday, you can take a local train to Roth station and a bus from there. http://int.bahn.de/en is the German Rail (Deutsche Bahn) service for travel planning and tickets. 🇺🇸 Nürnberg (Nuremberg) is the nearest larger city accessible by train from Frankfurt and Munich airports. We'd be happy to help international and local travelers find their way from Nürnberg to the Burg. A local train and bus gets you from Nürnberg to the Burg in about 45 minutes (e.g. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zt3e3ujiC9cAVj7q7) Driving from Nürnberg to the Burg takes 35 minutes. Some local guests might offer extra seats for carpooling. 🇩🇪 Nürnberg ist die nächstgelegene Stadt, die sehr gut mit der Bahn angebunden ist. Wir helfen internationalen und einheimischen Reisenden, den Weg von Nürnberg zur Burg zu finden. Both airports are connected to the German railway system "Deutsche Bahn". 🇩🇪 Die Burg Abenberg liegt etwa gleich weit vom Flughafen Frankfurt (FRA) und München (MUC) entfernt. Beide Flughäfen sind gut an das Schienennetz der Deutschen Bahn angeschlossen.

🇺🇸 It's a medieval castle, it's our wedding location, AND it's a hotel! Burg Abenberg and the nearby guesthouse are reserved for our guests for the wedding weekend (Friday optional and Saturday night) and there is also another hotel in town. Hotel Info can be found at https://hotel-burg-abenberg.com/en/hotel/ To reserve a room: ► send an email to info@burgabenberg.de ► tell them you will attend the Ford/Arend Wedding ► let them know which room you like to reserve ► mention your arrival date (Friday or Saturday) and departure date (Sun, April 28) ► give them the number of people and names for the room Check-in time is 2pm, check-out time is 11am. You pay at the venue at the time of your departure (they accept cards). Don't hesitate to let us know if we can assist you. 🇩🇪 Die Burg Abenberg und das nahegelegene Gästehaus sind komplett für unsere Gäste reserviert für das Hochzeitswochenende (Freitag optional und Samstag nacht). Leaving the Burg on Sunday | Abfahrt von der Burg am Sonntag

🇺🇸 All guests will leave the castle on Sunday morning after breakfast between 11 a.m. and noon. For guests who have arrived by train and bus, we will try to organize rides to Roth or Nuremberg with other guests, as the bus connection to Roth is not very regular on Sundays. Regional trains and S-Bahn trains run regularly from Roth to Nuremberg. Alternatively, there is the option of a short taxi ride to the train station in Roth or Schwabach to catch the train to Nuremberg. 🇩🇪 Alle Gäste verlassen die Burg am Sonntag vormittag nach dem Frühstück zwischen 11 Uhr und mittag. Fur Gäste, die mit Zug und Bus angereist sind, versuchen wir Mitfahrgelegenheiten mit anderen Gästen nach Roth oder Nürnberg zu organisieren, da am Sonntag die Busverbindung nach Roth nicht sehr regelmäßig ist. Von Roth nach Nürnberg fahren Regionalzügen und S-Bahnen regelmäßig nach Nürnberg. Notfalls gibt es die Möglichkeit einer kurzen Taxifahrt zum Bahnhof in Roth oder Schwabach um zum Zug nach Nürnberg zu kommen.
