Things To Do

Pacific Whale Foundation

612 Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (800) 942-5311

They have snorkeling tours to Molokini and other spots. It was a lot of fun. There are other organizations as well but this the one we went through.

Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice

790 Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 877-3700

Shave ice is a must while you're here.

Road to Hana

Hana Highway, Haiku, HI 96708
, (808) 661-8687

Drive yourself or take a tour. It is an ALL day trip and there are many winding turns pretty much the whole way so take that into consideration if your planning on going.

Haleakala Crater

HI 96790

It is amazing to see the sunrise from this vantage point. GET THERE EARLY and sadly now you have to make a reservation ahead of time through the park/government site. It is worth the early rise....or go sunset. Should set you back about $30 a car I think.

D.T. Fleming Park

Lower Honoapiilani Road, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 661-4685

This is a nice beach to swim and even better to snorkel.

Makena Beach

6600 Makena Road, Kihei, HI 96753
, (800) 464-2924

Sometimes the waves are huge....please be careful. It is a wonderful beach with beautiful waters.

Kamaole Beach III (northbound)

Wailea-Makena, HI 96753

The other Kamaole beaches are good too. I just really like the 3rd one.

Front Street

Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761

Lots of shops and stuff to look at

Iao Valley

HI 96793

Lots of fun and a nice place to hike around. $5 entrance fee I think

Waihee Ridge Trail

Kahekili Hwy, Wailuku, HI 96793
, (808) 587-0166

Gorgeous hike! I found this hike to be somewhat hard in parts but worth it.

Ali'i Kula Lavender

1100 Waipoli Road, Kula, HI 96790
, (808) 878-3004

Really great views. Wonderful flowers and gardens. About $4 to get in.

Expeditions Maui-Lanai Ferry

658 Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 661-3756

Check out Arnold's home town of Lanai city. Fly or take the ferry to get to Lanai. There is a wonderful beach within walking distance of the wharf. There is a shuttle van that will take you 1 way for $10 each person OR rent a car (you might have to send 1 person on the shuttle to pick up the car)

Kapalua Ziplines

500 Office Road, Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 756-9147

We've never been but it looks fun. There are other companies that do it as well

Maui Windsurf Company

22 Hana Highway, Kahului, HI 96732
, (808) 877-4816

We've also never done this, but it looks fun

Rivers To The Sea, Maui Surf Lessons

Lahaina, HI 96761
, (808) 280-8795

This could be a lifelong wish come true for some of you

Maui Wine, Ulupalakua Vineyards

14815 Piilani Highway, Kula, HI 96790
, (808) 878-6058

This is a beautiful place and a gorgeous drive to get to. It is fun to do some wine taste testing with friends

Hookipa Beach

HI 96708

Guaranteed to see turtles at this beach. They come onto the shore, but you cannot touch them

Maui Arts & Cultural Center

1 Cameron Way, Kahului, HI 96732
, (808) 242-7469

There are usually really good shows or performers coming to Maui. If you'd like to see a show check out their website to see who will be here

Napili Bay

HI 96761

This is a really nice beach that is fairly easy to find. I believe it is all street parking.

Nakalele Blowhole

Wailuku, HI 96793

This says it's in Wailuku, but it's not. Consider the blow hole as something to do while you are the WEST side of the island.

For all the days along the way
