70's themed! -- we want our wedding to feel like a blast from the past! We both absolutely love the 70's aesthetic, so we want to live it for our big day. You can go classic 70's or put your own modern twist on it. Think prints and textures like satins, velvets, corduroys, faux furs, and sequins. Take style cues from Bianca and Mick Jagger, Sonny and Cher, Farah Fawcett, Stevie Nicks, Iman, Joni Mitchell, Debbie Harry, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, and so on. We're technically supposed to be starting Summer at this point, with June being one of the warmest months in the year. We are HOPING to have warm/sunny weather, but knowing the UK, we must expect the unexpected. There's always a chance of a cold spell or rain showers at any given point in the UK, so please bring coverups/jackets just in case. But just as a reference, so you know what we're hoping for, it was in the 80's (fahrenheit) in mid-June of 2019.
We're sorry, but because of limited venue capacity, we are not allowing kids or pets at our wedding with the exception of very few whom we've already spoken to.
If you're staying on the property with us, the cottages and house are self-catering, so there are full kitchens available. We will stock the kitchens with basic supplies like breakfast and sandwich ingredients, but if you're planning to eat the majority of your meals on the property, we suggest doing a shop when you arrive!
The venue doesn't technically allow outside alcohol, but we're not going to stop you. If you're bringing some, we just ask that you please be careful and be mindful, and keep your bottles and cups tucked away in your rooms/bags.
